Our altimeters are guaranteed against defects in material and workmanship and will be seviced or exchanged
(our decision) without charge during a three-year warranty period (from the day of purchase), provided they
have not been modified, abused or tampered with AND THE DEFECT HAS NOT BEEN CAUSED BY AN
EXCESSIVE MECHANICAL SHOCK. IF THE REASON OF THE DAMAGE WAS SOME SORT OF
IMPACT ( LIKE DROPPING THE INSTRUMENT ON THE FLOOR, OR A COLLISION DURING FREEFALL)
WE HAVE TO CHARGE FOR THE REPAIR.
The velcro and elastic-straps have a limited life, they are available as spareparts and need to be replaced by
the owner as necessary. If an altimeter is lost because of a worn-out velro or elastic-strap, it cannot be replaced
under warranty.
Shipping charges, to and from our repair facility, are at the expense of the owner.
ACCURACY: Our altimeters are calibrated to 1.5% FSD (standard conditions, within the dial range)
based on Standard Atmosphere N.A.C.A. Report 538.
STANDARD SERVICE
We offer a “Standard Service” which consists of cleaning, inspection, small repairs, replacing the lens and
calibration. The price for this service is EUR 58,-- incl. VAT (EUR 48,30 excl. VAT for customers outside the EU)
plus return postage.
If the repair cannot be covered by the Standard Service, we will contact you.

Please include a short note, stating the problem experienced or the service requested and an E-mail address
to reach you, should a question arise. Also don’t forget to clearly write your RETURN-ADDRESS.

CUSTOMS DECLARATION
In the customs-form use the following phrase: “USED ALTIMETER FOR REPAIR”
For the value use: “NO COMMERCIAL VALUE”
Please never declare more than EUR 50,-- per instrument, to avoid problems with customs clearance.
We cannot accept repair shipments if we have to pay customs-charges.
A service (cleaning, inspection and recalibration is recommended every 5 years or 300 jumps (whichever
occurs first).
We strongly recommend a service if the altimeter had some sort of mechanical shock (like dropping on a hard floor).
Each of the following symptoms are typical if the altimeter was exposed to a mechanical shock:
>The pointer-needle tends to stick and shows an irregular movement
>The pointer-needle seems to be loose
>A cracked lens
>The pointer-needle is bent
>The indicated altitude is obviously incorrect.
If any of the above symptoms is observed, the altimeters should not be used and sent to a service/repair.
WARNING:
Never make an instrument to the sole means to determine when to start the seperation, when to open your
parachute or any other safety related procedure. Your own judgement should always be the determining factor.
